John Batchelor and I welcomed Rick Fisher to the program to first discuss China's rockets and boosters, the Long March 5G, the Long March 9 and the introduction of reusability into their rocketry. Also during the first segment, policy was talked along with their two step process of sending humans to the Moon. I said it sounded much like our old Constellation program. What do you think?
In our second segment, we talked about their lunar landers, including the concept of a horizonal lunar lander. As part of this discussion, I asked our guest if Chinese news articles and journal publications on space were reliable. Don't miss what he said in answer to the question. Also talked about in this segment was the possibility of China joining Artemis, their joint activity with Russia and the significance of China on the lunar South Pole.
