John Batchelor and I welcomed back RICK FISHER to discuss China's rockets, plans for the Moon, timeline, rocket reusability, plus their plans to secure Argentina in their sphere of influence for space and more. Rick had lots to say about the Long-March 10 which will be their Moon rocket and which he said was in some ways similar to Super Heavy. He said it would also be their reusable rocket. He spoke about other launchers including the Long-March 5 plus he mentioned the L-M 10 being able to get 26-27 tons to the Moon. When asked if China's space agenda could be influenced by other activities causing space programs delay, he pointed out that they have no accountability for how they spend and can do what they want as a totalitarian government. He cited one instance decades ago when a space project was influenced by spending. Listen for it. As we neared the end of the discussion, Argentina was discuss for space and in general as China is making a real effort to secure it in their sphere of influence. He explained why this would be detrimental for the U.S. and what was happening with the U.S. and Argentina.
