Welcome to our Open Lines discussion program. This is a forum where we discuss topics suggested and brought up by listeners via phone calls and emails. As suggested above, follow the tags for the many topics we talked about today. For your convenience, I’ve repeated the tags below:
Tags: Open Lines, Dr. David Livingston, Michael Listner, Star Act. FAA proposed rule, orbital debris, environmental impact report and analysis, Tim on antimatter, UAP power plant, Avi Loeb and spheroids, interstellar debris, Marshall on Venice Beach analysis, Venice Beach discussion with Tony, climate change commentary, Biosphere 2, living duration in space without support from Earth, upcoming solar eclipse, upcoming ISDC 2024, fusion and Eric Lerner, The Big Bang and JWST, Helion Fusion and zero carbon energy, Eric Lerner cosmology webinar re fusion, the Big Bang and JWST, Asteroid K21813, the Big Bang as the prevailing theory, JWST analysis requires additional time
First, let me point out the discussion that took on a sidetrack detour away from space topics. First, Marshall called to suggest the use of the Venice Beach area in Southern CA as a type of stable environment for climate and other modeling given what he said was average and stable temperature, humidity and such. During Marshall’s call, I jokingly pointed out that Venice Beach was no longer the Venice Beach he was picturing given the drugs, deterioration, homeless and such that the area now supports. Two calls later, Tony from Pasadena called to remind everyone of the upcoming solar eclipse with how to view it instructions for those without eclipse glasses. Upon completion of Tony’s solar eclipse commentary, I asked him the last time he went to Venice Beach given the close proximity of Pasadena. With a laugh, Tony started in on Venice Beach today, then with a little help from me, we both expanded it to a sort of but realistic view of CA, especially Southern CA today. Our two-way conversation went on for a few minutes of CA bashing until I got a note from Fremont John up in N. CA to return to space biz. Thus, our Venice Beach diversion came to a grinding halt. I’ve brought this up in the summary as it did command a good part of our early discussion.
Another topic that was commanding was the fact that Eric Lerner with his fusion business was back in the news with his scheduled webinar to debate his view that the Big Bang did not happen and the JWST validated that fact. The webinar has been held and on a future Open Lines show I will seek to find someone who listened to it to brief us. I recorded it but have not had the time to listen to it yet.
Our first caller of the day was Michael Listner talking about an important upcoming FAA regulation and timetable plus comment period. Please note what he said and check it out. Fusion was another topic with Helion Fusion (see www.helionenergy.com).
