John Batchelor and I welcomed back Eric Berger to discuss the recent SpaceX Starship demo launch and test. Eric noted the successes with his mission compared to the first demo flight but he also identified existing problem areas and challenges to overcome. He talked about ongoing environmental concerns in launch from Boca Chica, TX, he discussed future demo and testing flights and the concept of hot staging. At one point he was asked if there would be hot staging with humans on board but he could not at this time answer that question. Note that this was a two segment Hotel Mars program.
