At this time of year when every organization and good cause is asking you for money, so is The Space Show/OGLF. We know we have competition for funding from many outstanding and wonderful causes. However, space is also an outstanding and wonderful cause. For example, those of you that can remember back to the Cold War days, we had some pretty tense moments and scares. But not in space. In space we were making treaties to rescue our astronauts even by our enemies of the day. We were developing a mission to dock together a US and Soviet spaceship, then engage in a handshake that inspired and made the world a better place. Even today with the very real problems between the US, China, and Russia, we work together in space, living in great harmony and cooperation with cosmonauts and astronauts onboard the ISS. Once again, space shows the way toward the light between nations, not the way to darkness. The Space Show knows this and wants to makes sure that this is a big part of our message.
