Dr. Eligar Sadeh helped us bring election returns and space policy ramifications to Space Show from election results to Space Show listeners. We also talked about the potential market for space tourism and how we know that a market does in fact exist. Mr.

Dave Micheletti, President of the Montana Aerospace Development Association (MADA), was the guest for this edition of The Space Show.™ Mr. Micheletti explained the efforts underway in the State of Montana to attract, support, and develop an entrepreneurial space industry. MADA is not only partnering with state universities, the government, business and trade associations within the state, it is also working with NASA Langley, the aerospace industry, the nation's science labs, the National Space Science and Technology center at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and more. Mr.

Jim Benson, CEO of SpaceDev ,returned to The Space Show to talk about the success of SpaceShipOne, the SpaceDev rocket engine, the new plans for business and growth with SpaceDev, and more. He was asked for his opinion on converting the Space Shuttle to a heavy lift vehicle, on returning to the Moon and going to Mars, how SpaceDev hires engineers for the company and if he feels if space advocacy organizations have been an important contributor to helping businesses like SpaceDev get through the regulatory hurdles.

Dennis Wingo returned to The Space Show to discuss his new book, "Moonrush: Improving Life on Earth with the Moon's Resources." Mr. Wingo shows how the Moon's resources can be used to solve energy problems here on Earth. During this thorough discussion, Mr. Wingo was asked about the ethics, environment, and "common heritage for mankind" issues pertaining to lunar economic development. Together with Dennis Wingo, we provided listeners a unique point of view, pointing out that the ethical course is to develop the resources and bring the resulting advantages to the people here on Earth.

John Michael Lounge, the Business Development Director for Space Exploration Systems, NASA Systems, Washington, D.C. was the guest on this Space Show program. Mr. Lounge talked at length about our future space program in the context of the new space policy initiative put forth by President Bush earlier this year. He talked about the importance of the vision and the actual program, why it should be international in scope and participation, and the progress being made to date by Boeing, NASA, and others in the aerospace industry toward realizing this vision.

Dr. Michael Duke, Director of the Center for Commercial Applications of Combustion in Space at the Colorado School of Mines which is a NASA Space Commercialization Center, was the guest for this Space Show program. Dr. Duke explained what a NASA Space Commercialization Center is and talked about the variety of space programs in his department and at the school. He also talked about the need to go back to the Moon and what the plausible commercial possibilities are for the Moon. We also talked about commercial opportunities on nearby asteroids, nearby space in general and on Mars.

Kevin Greene, a well known and highly respected space activist, investor, and proponent of space settlement and economic development was the guest on this edition of The Space Show. Kevin was present at the final X-Prize flight for SpaceShipOne and described in detail what he saw and experienced. We also talked about effective space and political advocacy. Among the topics that came up was for Kevin to identify the four or five most common errors made by those interested or involved in space advocacy and how best to avoid them.
