Loretta Hidalgo and George Whitesides are the co- founders of Yuri's Night. Not only does this show focus on the Yuri's Night celebration and its importance, we also explore space advocacy, various space development programs and policies, and possible solutions to moving space commerce and the public's interest in space forward. Loretta and George disclose and detail their respective visions for a space-faring world. Loretta and George are experts in non-traditional space outreach and education.

Declan O'Donnell is a noted attorney specializing in the law of outer-space as well as tax and securities litigation. During this program, we discuss space policy from the legal perspective, the United Nations space treaties and their relationship to outer space commerce. We also look at other factors influencing the development of space commerce and Mr. O'Donnell offers suggestions for how best to move forward in developing a commercial space economy through creative policy changes coupled with effective programs and the United Societies in Space (USIS).

Dr. Eligar Sadeh, an Assistant Professor in the Space Studies Department, Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota, was the guest for this March 26, 2003 Space Show program. Dr. Sadeh has just published a new book, Space Politics and Policy: An Evolutionary Perspective. During this program, we discuss the views, perspective, and new information presented in this book, but also world events and their impact on space policy.

Efrain Palermo was The Space Show guest for Sunday, March 23, 2003. Mr. Palermo, an amateur astronomer, discusses possible water stains on Mars and what this means for future Mars exploration, a human to Mars mission, and the plausibility of life on Mars. We also discuss possible Mars commercial ventures and being recognized in the academic community for one's original research and work.
