Paul Contursi is the President of the New York chapter of the Mars Society and co-founder of the Colony Fund. During this program, Mr. Contursi speaks about the importance of Mars exploration, the economics of humans to Mars missions and the Mars Society. In addition, we talk about the Colony Fund, commercial space investments, and participation in the Colony Fund for those interested in space investments.

Alan Ladwig is the featured guest for The Space Show for Sunday, March 16, 2003. Mr. Ladwig is the Chief Operating Officer of the Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G), a space entertainment and travel company that provides parabolic flight opportunities (weightlessness) on a commercial basis to consumer, commercial, and government markets. On this program, Mr. Ladwig discusses not only Zero-G and its parabolic flight plans, but his opinion that the space community portrays a limited view of the potential of space.

Dr. Ken Johnston, former NASA Apollo Program test pilot, is the guest for this program. Dr. Johnston discusses with The Space Show audience such issues as where we were in technology at the end of the Apollo program and where we should be today, the 'Brain Drain' at NASA after the 'Moon Program', the Space Station that could have been, space and it's affect upon Earth's Culture and in theology, and what the reality will be for getting a private-sector lunar mission successfully to the Moon based on what he knows had to have happened with Apollo.

Jim McDade is the Director of Technology at the University of Alabama Birmingham Business and Engineering Complex as well as the founder and coordinator of the SpaceADG electronic newsletter. During this program, Jim updates us on the Columbia accident investigation, discusses the effects of all the space accidents on our efforts to develop space commerce, we talk about the much needed new space transportation vehicles.

Dr. Patrick Collins was the first guest on The Space Show on June 13, 2001 and returns with us now to celebrate this 100th Space Show program! Dr. Collins is an exceptionally well-known and respected authority on space economics, space tourism, reusable launch vehicles, and space solar power. Dr. Thomas Matula, an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Houston - Victoria, where he teaches in their MBA program, discusses new businesses strategies that have the potential to break through many of the existing commercial space barriers. We discuss space development banks, spaceports, the state of space education throughout the United States, space tourism, and space commerce in the aftermath of the Columbia shuttle accident. Dr. Matula offers suggestions for dealing with many of the existing problems facing the continued commercial development of space resources.

Broadcast 96 (Special Edition)

Dr. Lawrence Kuznetz is the Bioastronautics Flight Projects Manager Research Manager at the National Space Biomedical Research Institute at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. This Space Show program not only discusses some of the projects and science advancements being developed at the Institute and with NASA, but also the Columbia accident as Dr. Kuznetz knew the astronauts, especially Laurel Clark and her husband, Dr. John Clark.

Pat Bahn and Ed Wright are working with the newly formed Suborbital Institute to further legislation, regulation, insurance, liability, and other relevant issues to expedite the creation of this commercial space industry. This Space Show program talks in-depth about suborbital space flight, the prospects for this new industry, and the work being undertaken by the Suborbital Institute. In addition, Mr. Wright explains in detail the prospects for rocket racing, its current status, and it commercial potential.
